Description
Description
The tale of Odysseus and Argos is one of the most moving moments in Homer’s Odyssey. After twenty long years away from home, Odysseus finally returns, weary from his journey and battles. Waiting for him is Argos, the faithful hound who has spent those years in patient loyalty, watching and hoping for his master’s return. Though old and frail, Argos still recognizes Odysseus instantly, his devotion shining through even in his final moments. Their brief reunion is more than just a meeting between man and dog, it is a timeless reminder of loyalty, the endurance of love, and the way bonds can survive the passage of years. In this quiet exchange, Homer captures the essence of faithfulness and the hope that endures even when time seems endless.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
