Description
Description
Our Lady of Fatima is a title given to the Virgin Mary, based on a series of apparitions reported by three young shepherd children—Lucia dos Santos and her cousins Jacinta and Francisco Marto—in Fatima, Portugal, between May and October 1917. During these visions, Mary appeared to the children as a radiant figure, delivering messages of prayer, repentance, and devotion to God, while entrusting them with three secrets that would later be interpreted as prophetic warnings about world events and spiritual renewal. Known for her call to recite the Rosary daily and her promise of peace if her requests were heeded, Our Lady of Fatima became a powerful symbol of hope and faith for millions. The dramatic culmination of the apparitions, witnessed by thousands on October 13, 1917, included the "Miracle of the Sun," where the sun appeared to dance in the sky, solidifying Fatima’s place as one of the most significant Marian devotion sites in the world.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
