Description
Description
Our Lady of Lourdes is a revered title of the Virgin Mary in the Roman Catholic tradition, associated with a series of Marian apparitions that took place in 1858 in Lourdes, a small village in southwestern France. According to historical accounts, the Virgin Mary appeared eighteen times to a 14-year-old peasant girl named Bernadette Soubirous in a grotto known as Massabielle. These visions, marked by messages of penance, prayer, and a miraculous spring with healing properties, have turned Lourdes into one of the most significant pilgrimage sites in the world. Each year, millions of faithful visit Lourdes seeking spiritual solace and physical healing, affirming its enduring impact on global Catholic devotion.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
