Description
Description
Elected to the papacy in 2013, Pope Francis—born Jorge Mario Bergoglio—represents a landmark moment in ecclesiastical history as the first pontiff from the Americas and the first from the Jesuit order. His tenure has been defined by a focus on humility, mercy, and a profound commitment to social justice, often emphasizing the necessity of outreach to the marginalized and the stewardship of the global environment. This likeness captures him in his iconic gesture of blessing, a posture that serves as a visual bridge between the traditional gravity of the Holy See and his approachable, pastoral leadership style. Belonging to the themes of religious iconography, historical commemorations, and Vatican legacy, this piece serves as a solemn tribute to a papacy dedicated to modernizing the church's outreach while maintaining the spiritual gravity of his predecessors.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
