Description
Description
Centuries ago, the Pug emerged in the imperial courts of China, where they were highly prized companions bred for the luxury of the Han dynasty emperors. These esteemed creatures, known for their distinctively expressive features and compact stature, eventually journeyed along trade routes to the West, finding a permanent home in the laps of European royalty and nobility. Renowned for their loyal and mischievous temperaments, they became beloved icons of sophistication and charm across centuries of art and portraiture. This depiction captures that timeless spirit of companionship, evoking the themes of historical aristocracy, traditional animal portraiture, and the enduring bond between humanity and its favorite domestic confidants.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
