Description
Description
Saint Francis of Assisi, born Giovanni di Pietro di Bernardone in 1181 or 1182, is one of the most venerated religious figures in Christianity and the founder of the Franciscan Order. Known for his deep humility, love of nature, and commitment to poverty, Francis experienced a dramatic spiritual conversion in his early adulthood, which led him to renounce his wealthy background and embrace a life dedicated to serving the poor and preaching the Gospel. His affinity for animals and all of God's creation earned him the title of the patron saint of ecology. Canonized in 1228, just two years after his death, Saint Francis's teachings and way of life continue to inspire millions worldwide, reflecting his enduring legacy of compassion and spiritual devotion.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
