Description
Description
Santa Muerte, often depicted holding a scythe and scales, is a figure deeply embedded in Mexican folk religion and tradition. This representation embodies themes of death, justice, and protection, reflecting the unique fusion of indigenous Mesoamerican beliefs and Spanish colonial influences. The scythe symbolizes her role as a bringer of transformation and the inevitable passage of life, while the scales represent balance and equality, underscoring her impartial nature. This figure, venerated by a diverse community of devotees, is frequently invoked for guidance, healing, and safeguarding against misfortune, highlighting the complexity and depth of belief systems that intertwine the mortal and the divine.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
