Description
Description
Sedna, revered in Inuit mythology as the Goddess of the Sea, embodies the omnipotent and enigmatic force of the ocean. According to the legends passed down through generations, Sedna once dared to defy intricate familial expectations, leading to a transformative experience that plunged her into the depths of the ocean. There, she reigns supreme over the marine world, commanding the creatures of the sea, from the smallest fish to the largest mammals. This narrative of Sedna is more than a tale of power; it is an allegory of conflict, independence, reconciliation, and the intricate dance between humanity and nature. Her story encompasses themes of loyalty, reverence, and duality, highlighting the continuous balance between humankind’s reliance on and respect for the vast natural world. As the sea's matron, her influence is felt across Inuit culture, where her story acts as a cautionary tale and a reminder of the ocean's unpredictable nature and boundless grace. Sedna’s legend continues to offer insight into the foundational beliefs and cultural values of the Inuit people, eloquently demonstrating their deep connection to the environment and the mysteries it holds.

Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
