Description
Description
This interpretation of the "See No Evil" motif playfully juxtaposes the stoic, battle-hardened archetype of the Norse warrior with the ancient philosophical tradition of moral discretion. While historical Vikings were renowned for their intrepid voyages and martial prowess, this depiction reimagines the legendary raider as a guardian of one’s own perceptions, choosing to shield his eyes from the discord of the world. It serves as a symbolic bridge between the fierce ethos of the Scandinavian sagas and the timeless Eastern wisdom of the Three Wise Monkeys, which advises caution in what we witness and how we act. By blending the iconic horned helmet and weaponry of the Viking Age with this contemplative gesture, the piece evokes themes of Norse mythology, wisdom, and the internal discipline required to maintain integrity amidst the chaos of conflict.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
