Description
Description
Shimmer, a creation by artist Selina Fenech, invites viewers into a serene realm of ethereal grace where the boundaries between the celestial and the terrestrial blur. Drawing upon a rich historical lineage of folklore, this figure evokes the ancient European traditions of the Sidhe and the Victorian fascination with fairy lore, where supernatural beings were often depicted as quiet observers of the mortal world. With a gaze that seems to hold the secrets of the starlit heavens, the subject rests in a contemplative posture, serving as an embodiment of the tranquility found in the hidden corners of the natural landscape. This piece belongs to the themes of fantasy art, celestial mysticism, and neo-Victorian fairy revivalism, capturing a moment of stillness that bridges the gap between the mundane and the magical.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
