Description
Description
The Solidus Poodle Guitarist captures the essence of the late 20th-century hard rock aesthetic, paying homage to the iconic visual style of Slash, the legendary lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses. By blending the refined, elegant silhouette of a poodle with the rebellious, counter-cultural uniform of the 1980s Sunset Strip scene—complete with a signature top hat, cascading curls, and dark sunglasses—the piece serves as a playful cultural commentary on rock-and-roll mythology and the anthropomorphism of stardom. This work sits at the intersection of music history and kitsch pop culture, evoking the raw energy of stadium performances and the enduring influence of glam-era fashion icons. This piece belongs to the themes of musical satire, rock-and-roll heritage, and quirky pop culture caricature.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
