Description
Description
Emerging from the intersection of Victorian industrial innovation and the speculative fascination with natural history, this mechanical creature evokes the era of Enlightenment-era automata and the visionary clockwork inventions of the nineteenth century. By blending the organic silhouette of the Chiroptera with the intricate precision of gear-driven machinery, this piece captures the spirit of early technological romanticism and the imaginative propulsion of the Industrial Revolution. Its design draws upon the legacy of curiosities once found in an apothecary’s cabinet or the private gallery of an eccentric polymath, where the boundary between biological specimen and master-crafted mechanism becomes beautifully, hauntingly blurred. This imaginative synthesis of life and artifice perfectly embodies the steampunk and gothic aesthetic, celebrating a world where steam-powered ingenuity meets the mysterious elegance of the midnight sky.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
