Description
Description
This compelling piece serves as a bridge between the macabre traditions of *memento mori*—a genre intended to remind viewers of the inevitability of mortality—and the visionary industrialism of the late nineteenth century. Drawing inspiration from the speculative fiction of authors like H.G. Wells and Jules Verne, the object captures the Victorian fascination with anatomical study fused with the rapid, mechanical advancements of the steam age. This synthesis represents an era where scientific curiosity met artistic ornamentation, embodying the quintessential themes of steampunk and industrial gothic design. By integrating intricate filigree with utilitarian, clockwork-inspired elements and ocular enhancements, it reflects the period’s obsession with transforming the human form through technological innovation.
- Dimensions (L x W x H): 15 x 10 x 12 cm (5.9 x 3.9 x 4.7 in)

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
