Description
Description
This artifact captures the imaginative spirit of the Victorian industrial era, a time when the rapid advancement of steam power and intricate clockwork mechanisms fueled a fascination with futuristic innovation. Evocative of the speculative visions found in the literature of Jules Verne and H.G. Wells, this piece pays homage to a speculative past where gaslight met the grand complexities of early mechanical engineering. Its design embodies the core tenets of the steampunk and industrial gothic movements, reflecting a culture that romanticized the marriage of ornate, historical aesthetics with the burgeoning, complex technologies of the late 19th century. By synthesizing elements of romanticism and early mechanical science, it serves as an artistic tribute to an age of exploration and bold, inventive ingenuity.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
