Description
Description
This tableau evokes the visionary spirit of the nineteenth-century Industrial Revolution, a period where the rapid advancement of steam power and intricate clockwork mechanisms sparked a profound cultural fascination with the synthesis of biology and machine. Drawing inspiration from the speculative literature of Jules Verne and H.G. Wells, this piece captures the aesthetic of a Victorian-era inventor’s study, reimagining the natural world through a lens of brass gears, pressure gauges, and analytical precision. The owl, long an icon of wisdom and nocturnal observation, is transformed here into a sentinel of the steam-powered age, reflecting the era's boundless optimism regarding scientific progress and the era's drive to codify the mysteries of nature within mechanical frameworks. Belonging to the steampunk, industrial gothic, and retro-futurism themes, this object serves as a bridge between the historical obsession with Victorian craftsmanship and a fictionalized, brass-bound future where technology and enlightenment remain inextricably linked.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
