Description
Description
This captivating piece draws inspiration from the Victorian era’s fascination with "automata," the intricate mechanical marvels that enchanted 19th-century society by mimicking the movements of living creatures. During this time, master horologists and inventors often blended the natural grace of wildlife with the burgeoning complexities of the Industrial Revolution, crafting sophisticated mechanical companions that celebrated the union of biology and technology. Representative of the steampunk and industrial gothic aesthetic, this work honors that historical intersection where the observant wisdom of the owl meets the rhythmic precision of gears and escapements. It serves as a tribute to an era that dreamed of steam-powered wonders and a future built upon the elegant complexity of mechanical artistry.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
