Description
Description
The Moral High Ground evokes the long-standing intellectual tradition of the cat as a silent, enigmatic guardian of wisdom and esoteric knowledge. Throughout history, from the scholars of the Renaissance to the hidden libraries of the Enlightenment, the feline has been depicted as a companion to the alchemist and the philosopher, often perched atop the very volumes that define human understanding. By placing a curious feline at the summit of a stack of weathered tomes, this composition mirrors the classical iconography of the "memento mori," where a skull serves as a stark reminder of the transience of life set against the permanence of recorded thought. This piece belongs to the themes of academic mysticism, occult studies, and the enduring fascination with the intersection of mortality and the pursuit of enlightenment.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
