Description
Description
Throughout human history, the black cat has navigated a complex duality of symbolism, revered by the ancient Egyptians as protective conduits to the divine Bastet, yet later unfairly stigmatized in medieval European folklore as clandestine companions to the occult. This piece evokes that historical tension, capturing a trinity of feline sentinels that mirror the ancient practice of using talismans to ward off malevolent energies and guard sacred spaces. By intertwining this feline imagery with complex, continuous knotwork—reminiscent of Insular art where interlaced patterns represented the eternal cycle of life—the composition bridges the gap between folklore and mystic tradition. Belonging to the themes of gothic charm, pagan symbolism, and feline reverence, this assembly serves as an aesthetic homage to the enduring cultural mystery that continues to surround these midnight-hued guardians.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
