Description
Description
This evocative composition draws upon the Neoclassical tradition of idealized human anatomy merged with the sublime, mythical presence of the winged figure. Inspired by the romanticized portrayals of fallen or contemplative spirits found in late eighteenth and nineteenth-century art, the piece captures a moment of introspective stillness. The figure’s posture, characterized by an extended limb and a shielding gesture towards the brow, evokes themes of vulnerability, divine exile, and the heavy burden of earthly confinement. Belonging to the traditions of Western classical allegory and mythological symbolism, this work invites reflection on the duality between mortal limitations and the ethereal aspiration for flight, embodying the eternal tension between human nature and the celestial realm.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
