Description
Description
This evocative piece captures the unsettling intersection of mortality and the macabre, reflecting the deep-seated human fascination with the restless dead that has permeated folklore for centuries. Evoking imagery reminiscent of the cinematic "zombie" phenomenon, which gained significant cultural prominence in the 20th century as a metaphor for societal breakdown and existential dread, the composition depicts a desperate, visceral struggle to transcend the boundary between the afterlife and the terrestrial realm. The intertwined hands, emerging from a fractured landscape, serve as a poignant exploration of themes such as the persistence of human spirit beyond death, the inescapable nature of decay, and the haunting allure of the grotesque, firmly positioning this work within the genres of horror, gothic surrealism, and dark fantasy.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
