Description
Description
Throughout history, the hare has occupied a space of profound dualism, appearing as a trickster figure in West African and Native American folklore, a symbol of fertility and rebirth in ancient European traditions, and a motif of quiet vigilance in medieval art. This composition captures that ancient duality, presenting a serene tableau of familial bonds that evokes the springtime renewal often associated with the creature. By emphasizing the verticality of their elongated forms and the intimacy of their huddle, the work draws on the long-standing tradition of animalier art that seeks to imbue the natural world with human-like emotive qualities. Belonging to the themes of nature and wildlife, domesticity and family life, and pastoral romanticism, this piece serves as a timeless tribute to the gentle interconnectedness found within the wild.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
