Description
Description
Our Lady of Aparecida is a revered figure in Brazilian culture and Catholic tradition, symbolizing faith and triumph over adversity. Rooted in the rich history of Brazil, the story begins in 1717, when fishermen in the Paraíba River discovered a small statue of the Virgin Mary after days of unsuccessful fishing. As the legend unfolds, their nets filled with an abundance of fish, signifying a divine blessing. Over centuries, she has grown into a beacon of hope and unity, celebrated on October 12th as a national holiday. Our Lady of Aparecida embodies themes of miracle, devotion, and cultural heritage, standing as a testament to Brazil's deep spiritual roots and the unwavering faith of its people. The statue and its story continue to inspire millions, drawing pilgrims from around the world to the Basilica of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Aparecida, one of the largest Marian shrines in the world.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
