Description
Description
This iconic composition finds its historical roots in the celebrated pen-and-ink drawing created by the German Renaissance master Albrecht Dürer in 1508. Originally a study for the Apostle's hands in the Heller Altarpiece, the image has transcended its origins to become one of the most recognizable emblems of devotion, humility, and earnest supplication in Western art history. By capturing the weathered, hardworking hands of a laborer pressed together in quiet reverence, Dürer infused a simple gesture with profound emotional weight and spiritual intensity. This piece belongs to the themes of spiritual devotion, classical iconography, and the quiet dignity of faith, serving as a timeless tribute to the power of silent meditation and the human connection to the divine.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
