Description
Description
Saint Francis of Assisi, born in the late 12th century, remains one of the most venerated figures in Christian history, celebrated for his profound commitment to poverty, humility, and a radical reverence for all of creation. Renowned for his ability to commune with the natural world, he is frequently depicted in the company of animals, who were said to respond to his gentle spirit and message of universal peace. This portrayal captures the essence of his ministry, emphasizing his role as the patron saint of ecology and animals, while highlighting his contemplative nature through the inclusion of traditional symbols such as the crucifix and the dove. Belonging to themes of spirituality, hagiography, and environmental stewardship, this representation serves as a poignant reminder of a legacy built upon compassion, simplicity, and the interconnectedness of all living beings within the natural world.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
