Description
Description
Santa Muerte, a revered figure in Mexican folk religion, embodies a complex fusion of indigenous and Spanish colonial beliefs, often depicted as a skeletal saint granting protection and guidance. This depiction of Santa Muerte seated majestically on a throne, clutching a scythe and scale, symbolizes her dominion over life, death, and justice. The scythe represents the inevitable passage of time and mortality, while the scales signify fairness and impartiality in judgment, echoing themes of balance and the cycle of life. Associated with themes of mortality, protection, and spiritual guidance, Santa Muerte serves as a powerful symbol in both cultural and religious contexts, revered by many as a compassionate caretaker and powerful ally in the face of life's uncertainties.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
