Description
Description
Captured with an evocative stillness, this piece by Selina Fenech invites viewers into a realm where the boundaries between the human and the ethereal dissolve. The subject draws inspiration from the enduring folklore of the fae, echoing Victorian-era fascinations with spirit photography and the natural world infused with unseen wonders. By portraying a serene figure in intimate communion with a miniature dragon, the artist taps into the ancient archetype of the guardian, a common motif in cross-cultural mythologies that celebrate the bond between humanity and the elemental forces of the natural world. This work belongs to the thematic realms of high fantasy, neopagan symbolism, and the romanticization of the unseen, serving as a contemplative study of guardianship, the quiet majesty of mythical companions, and the enduring human desire to find enchantment within the fabric of our everyday reality.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
