Description
Description
In the tradition of maritime folklore, the siren has long served as a symbol of the untamable allure of the deep, often depicted in literature and art as a bridge between the perilous unknown of the ocean and the terrestrial beauty of the land. Selina Fenech’s "Sea of Rose" reimagines this archetypal figure not amidst the wreckage of ships, but resting upon a decadent, blooming bed of flora, evoking the romanticized motifs of Victorian-era fairy painting where the boundary between the natural world and the supernatural realm dissolves. This piece embodies the themes of oceanic fantasy and romantic surrealism, capturing a moment of profound, quiet intimacy that suggests a mythic narrative where the raw power of the sea finds harmony with the delicate, ephemeral grace of a garden in full bloom.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
