Description
Description
This evocative representation draws its inspiration from the Pauline epistles, specifically the imagery of the Armor of God found in Ephesians 6:16-17, which reflects the theological tradition of visualizing the Christian life as a spiritual conflict. The iconography of the archangel as a heavenly warrior clad in classical military regalia echoes a long-standing artistic practice from the Byzantine and Renaissance periods, where divine protectors were depicted as defenders against moral and spiritual adversaries. By blending the aesthetic of ancient Roman martial equipment with celestial wings, the depiction serves as a poignant reminder of the enduring call to fortitude and the protection offered by one’s convictions in the face of adversity. This piece belongs to the themes of spiritual warfare, religious devotion, angelic protection, and the historical intersection of military heraldry with Christian symbolism.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
