Description
Description
The Abduction of Europa is a mythological tale originating from Greek mythology, replete with gods, love, and transformation. Europa was a Phoenician princess of exceptional beauty, the daughter of King Agenor of Tyre. Zeus, the king of the gods, became infatuated with her upon first sight. To seduce her without arousing suspicion, he transformed himself into a magnificent white bull with gleaming horns. Europa, enchanted by the tame and gentle nature of the bull, approached and eventually climbed onto its back. Seizing the moment, Zeus, still in his bovine guise, sprang up and rushed across the sea to the island of Crete with Europa on his back. Upon their arrival, he revealed his true identity to her. Europa became the first queen of Crete, and from her union with Zeus, she bore several children, one of whom was Minos, a future king of Crete. This mythological tale has been revisited and immortalized in numerous works of art and literature throughout history, embodying themes of desire, transformation, and power dynamics.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
