Description
Description
This evocative representation draws inspiration from the enduring legacy of the Norse shield-maiden, a figure synonymous with the egalitarian, if fierce, spirit of Viking-age Scandinavia. While historical records and sagas like the *Gesta Danorum* frequently blur the lines between myth and reality, they celebrate the image of women who stood as equals on the battlefield, embodying the strength and autonomy celebrated in Old Norse society. Adorned with intricate war paint and functional, layered attire, this figure captures the quiet intensity of a warrior prepared for the fray. This piece belongs to the themes of Norse mythology, historical fantasy, and the celebration of legendary female figures from antiquity.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
