Description
Description
Long revered as a quintessential symbol of British tenacity and resolve, the bulldog emerged from the turbulent history of seventeenth-century England, where its ancestors were once employed in the brutal practice of bull-baiting. Following the prohibition of such blood sports in the nineteenth century, the breed underwent a transformation, shifting from a fierce guardian to a beloved national icon synonymous with the indomitable spirit of the British people, famously embodied by leaders like Winston Churchill during the perils of the Second World War. This piece captures that enduring character, evoking the themes of historical heritage, national identity, and the loyal, courageous temperament that has made this breed a permanent fixture in the cultural consciousness of the United Kingdom.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
