The legendary battle between Theseus and the Minotaur is a renowned tale from Greek mythology. In the heart of the Labyrinth on the island of Crete, Theseus, a valiant hero from Athens, confronted the terrifying Minotaur. The Minotaur, a monstrous creature with the body of a man and the head of a bull, was a symbol of terror, and its defeat was essential to liberate Athens from the gruesome tribute it had to pay to King Minos of Crete.
Theseus, determined to end the annual sacrifice of Athenian youths to the Minotaur, entered the Labyrinth armed with a sword and guided by a thread given to him by Ariadne, the daughter of King Minos. As he ventured deeper into the maze, he unraveled the thread to ensure he could find his way back.
Upon encountering the Minotaur, a fierce and deadly battle ensued. Theseus, fueled by courage and determination, managed to defeat the fearsome creature, putting an end to its reign of terror. With the Minotaur vanquished, Theseus, along with Ariadne and the other Athenian youths, made their escape from the labyrinth, carrying with them the hope of a brighter future for Athens.
This heroic feat solidified Theseus's place as a legendary figure in Greek mythology and symbolized the triumph of valor and bravery over monstrous adversity, as well as the liberation of Athens from a dreadful fate.

Arrived when expected and the item is beautiful. Looks quality and great detail. It is a gift for someone and I don't think they'll be disappointed with it. Also, I had some concerns about delivery time as I was on a tight schedule but had plenty of communication with the seller and it was delivered by Royal Mail which was reassuring.

This is a gift for my wife who loves owls. This piece of Steampunk art takes the wise bird whom Athena in Greek mythology favours to an entirely new level. I love steampunk art and my wife is quite impressed with this figurine which is well made and quite unique.
