Antique hand-beaten Turkish copper and brass ibrik, early 1900s. A large lidded pitcher used for heating water with a patterned copper and brass body, and incised-patterned brass strap-handle. The lid is hinged and has a brass acorn finial. Copper rivets were used to secure the handle and lid to the body. Beautifully patinated with proper wear including dents to the rounded base and some wear to the inner lid rim. Hard water deposits on the inside. A couple of tiny pin-sized holes around base rim - not water-tight.

Arrived when expected and the item is beautiful. Looks quality and great detail. It is a gift for someone and I don't think they'll be disappointed with it.
