Description
Description
Tracing its lineage to the historic region of Dalmatia, this distinctive canine has served as a loyal companion and protector since at least the seventeenth century. Renowned for its storied service as a carriage dog, the breed was prized by the British aristocracy for its remarkable endurance and ability to run alongside horse-drawn coaches, clearing paths and providing security for travelers. Adorned with a striking, singular mantle of spots, this noble creature embodies the themes of aristocratic elegance, faithful companionship, and the rich heritage of European sporting culture, standing as an enduring symbol of a bygone era of travel and refined elegance.

Care
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For bronze and metal pieces, an occasional light coat of wax or polish helps preserve the finish. Porcelain and glass items should be hand-cleaned gently to protect painted or gilded details.
